Sunni Community Mosque Reopened in Mashhad

TEHRAN The Friday prayer leader of Sunni community in Mashhad, Mowlavi Mohammad Yousef Niazi, said that a mosque belonging to his community has been reopened in the city's Sheikh Bazeh district.

The mosque had been closed due to construction work and the widening of the street in front of the mosque.

He expressed his gratitude to the city officials for their efforts to have the mosque reopened in the shortest possible time.

Mowlavi Niazi further called on the officials to pay more attention to the economic problems facing the people, saying that the number of people living below poverty line is increasing due to such problems.
